What should we expect from our Xbox live starter kit?
Microsoft has taken the next big step in console gaming with its Xbox Live service. While it's the second console to go online this year, Xbox Live is more user friendly than getting online with a PlayStation 2. Furthermore, the Xbox was designed from the ground up to be Internet compatible and uses much of the same architecture that lets a PC get online. While Sony touts that its online strategy gives the gamer more options, I think Microsoft has the better approach with its easy-to-use service in a box. Here's a rundown of the hardware and service of Xbox Live.
